ABOUT TRB POLYTECHNIC EXAM:
The Teachers Recruitment Board under the Government of Tamil Nadu has released notification inviting eligible candidates for Direct Recruitment for the Post of Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges and Special Institutions (Engineering/Non-Engineering). The TN TRB Polytechnic Lecturer recruitment notification was released on 27.11.2019. For the recruitment of Polytechnic Lecturer 2020, a total of 1060 vacancies are to be filled by direct recruitment. In which the current vacancies are 1058 and the shortfall vacancies are 2.Huge number of applicants will appear for the examination. The vacancies may increase or decrease as per the orders of the conducting authority.

AGE LIMIT:
Candidates should not have completed 57 years as on 01/07/2019.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The selection will be based on two successive stages viz.
(1) Computer based examination.
(2) Awarding weightage marks during Certificate Verification.
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:
The mode of examination will be online and it will consist of a single paper with 150 MCQs with time duration of 3 hours.
